I Move Therefore I Remember

I Move Therefore I Remember is a performance-research project that explores the body as a living database of memory, culture, and experience. Developed through a 32-day improvisation study, it investigates how embodied knowledge can be recalled, transformed, and rewritten through live performance. The work combines movement, projected code-like scores, video, reflective flooring, costume, and audience-read text to create an interactive choreographic environment. Rather than presenting memory as fixed retrieval, the project argues remembering as an active, shifting reconstruction. It proposes choreography as a way of designing conditions for embodied knowledge to emerge, circulate, and continuously update in real time.
